The Ladies Gaelic Football Association has confirmed the 2025 TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship semi-finals will take place on the evening of Saturday, July 19th, at Glenisk O’Connor Park in Tullamore.
The double-header will see Kerry play Meath, with a throw-in time of 5:15 pm, and Dublin take on Galway at 7:30 pm.
Both games will be broadcast live on TG4.
It will mean a later night than usual for kids going to see the games, but the location is central for all four teams, and the primetime evening TV audience will likely see an increase on if the games were held in the afternoon.
LGFA Chief Executive, Helen O’Rourke, said she was pleased to bring the semi-finals back to Glenisk O’Connor Park, emphasising the venue’s atmosphere and support for women’s Gaelic football.
This announcement reflects the Association’s strategic goal of rotating key fixtures across provincial venues to boost regional engagement.
TG4’s Head of Sport, Rónán Ó Coisdealbha, welcomed the scheduling, describing the semi-finals as “a showcase of the growing strength and excitement around the Senior Championship.”
The semi-final winners will progress to Finals Day at Croke Park on Sunday, August 3rd, where a triple-header will highlight the country’s top women’s Gaelic football talent.
