The Energia All-Ireland League is back this weekend for the Men and the following week for the Women.

The opening weekend includes a mirror of last season with the clash of Terenure College and Cork Constitution in a repeat of last May’s final. Newly promoted St. Mary’s College hosts Clontarf, while Garryowen, the second-promoted club, are at home to Lansdowne.

The first #EnergiaAIL Live game of the season will be streamed on Friday night as Old Wesley host Blackrock at Energia Park. On Saturday in the second tier, there is action in Highfield, Nenagh Ormond, Old Belvedere, and Queen’s University.

MU Barnhall missed out on promotion from the third tier last season by the narrowest of margins. The new season kicks off with them away to Banbridge. Newly promoted Instonians are on the road to Dubarry Park to face a Buccaneers side looking to bounce back after their relegation.

Energia will once again support Sport for Business member Anyscor in bring live scores and updates from across the League to your mobile phone

“Anyscor is aimed at all types of amateur sports and designed to empower coaches by giving them accurate information about the game while providing fans with the kind of up to date information they want,” said founder Colin Deering.

“In addition, it will allow clubs to generate income via sponsorship or advertising on the fan facing app.”

The app now includes almost all of the clubs in the Energia League and will be featuring live updates from matches throughout the season.
