The Ladies Gaelic Football Association is seeking expressions of interest to join its Management Committee as an independent member.

It is an opportunity to help shape what promises to be an exciting future for the sport building on a solid and at times spectacular decade of growth.

The association has a rapidly growing membership with over 1,200 clubs across Ireland and internationally.

The particular areas it is now looking for an independent perspective on are in leadership, strategy, business development and the commercial world.

The Management Committee of the LGFA is responsible for the management of the affairs of the Association, including its general activities, matters of discipline, finances, and implementation of policies determined by Congress.

It provides leadership to the Association, within a framework of prudent and effective controls, which enables risks to be assessed and managed.

Further details of the role and the way in which applications are being invited can be seen on the Sport for Business Jobs in Sport page.
