The 2022 Sport for Social Good Event, in partnership with Allianz, will take place online and in-person throughout today, Thursday, February 24th.

Our morning event will be broadcast live from the HBV Studios in North Dublin to an audience of over 400 dialling in from across Ireland and around the world.

The action gets underway at 10 AM and our first guest speaker will be on stage at 10:10. Matt Rogan has been one of the most inspiring leaders in the business of sport over the last decade, from founding the Two Circles agency to penning All to Play For a roadmap on how sport can lead the way in recovering from the last two years as a society.

We will then be joined at 1040 by Valerie Hedin of Allianz and Niamh Murphy, Head of Planning at In the Company of Huskies to give us unmatched insight on the creation of a campaign that can have a real positive social impact.

Just after 11, Kelly Cooke from the United Rugby Championship will talk to us about the Take on Tomorrow campaign which aims to use rugby as a tool for community impact and social change.

At 11:35 we will wrap up the event with a chat with Bohemian FC Chief Operating Officer Daniel Lambert about how a North Dublin football club has stepped up with a social conscience and grown stronger as a result within its community.

The speakers from the morning session will then regather with a small group of Sport for Business members and friends for our first in-person networking event in a private room at Doheny & Nesbitt’s on Baggot Street in Dublin City between 4 PM and 6 PM to carry on the discussion around some of the most important ways in which sport and business have come together to create Social Good over the past year.

This really is an event it will be worth getting online for or better still coming out for and we look forward to meeting up again to do some good together.

You can join in the morning session by accessing our Zoom based session Webinar Code 987 3135 4678 Passcode 252096.

Contact Rob Hartnett on email before 2 PM if you would like to join us for the in-person session on Thursday afternoon.
