Virgin Media Television and UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation, have announced a new broadcast deal to bring Irish viewers world-class MMA action, free to air.

Highlights of every UFC event this year will air at 11:00pm on Virgin Media Two on Tuesdays after the events, starting with UFC 302: Makhachev Vs Poirier later today. The stellar card sees UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev defend his belt for the third time against fan favourite Dustin Poirier.

As part of the agreement, there will be two events live on Virgin Media Television, including Sandhagen Vs Nurmadodemov taking place in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, 3rd August, and UFC‘s return to Paris on Saturday, 28th September.

UFC’s crop of Irish talent continues to grow as the promotion boasts six athletes on its roster, including Conor McGregor and Ian Garry who take to the Octagon against their respective opponents at UFC 303: McGregor Vs Chandler

After an impressive win in Las Vegas in March, Caolan Loughran competes against Ramon Taveras at UFC 304: Edwards Vs Mohammed 2 in Manchester, alongside Dublin native Shauna Bannon, who makes her second appearance in the Octagon, as she takes on Ravena Morais.
