Ireland’s Men’s Cricket team are in action again today in a Semi-Final of the Qualification tournament to see will they qualify to take part in the T20 Cricket World Cup later this year.
They progressed through to the semi-finals after a comprehensive win over Germany in a must-win Group Stage match of the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier at the Al Almerat Stadium yesterday.
Bahrain’s upset two-run win over the UAE meant that Ireland topped the group and secured a Semi-Final against the runner up in the other group that turned out to be Oman.
The UAE will play Nepal who won all three of their matches in the qualification group.
The winners of the two semi-finals will qualify to take part in the World Cup Finals in Australia in October and November of this year.
The do-or-die game gets underway at 10 AM Irish time and can be watched on the ICC Streaming service.
