Leopardstown Racecourse has announced a new partnership with Barberstown Castle for the sponsorship of the Group 3 Barberstown Castle Stakes, taking place next Thursday, June 12th.
The race will headline the opening day of the popular Bulmers Live at Leopardstown summer series.
Barberstown Castle is a historic hotel on the Dublin-Kildare border, renowned for its charm and hospitality. Amanda Torrens, owner of Barberstown Castle, described the partnership as a reflection of shared values.
“This first-time sponsorship is a symbol of the excellence and tradition in Irish racing,” she said.
“We’re proud to support a sport we love and look forward to many memorable moments at Leopardstown.”
Leopardstown’s interim CEO, Vicki Donlon, welcomed the new partnership, calling it a perfect match.
“Barberstown Castle brings a timeless elegance that complements the thrill of our racing. We’re looking forward to an unforgettable day of sport and entertainment, and to building a strong relationship for the future.”
The June 12th event will not only feature high-quality racing but also live music, family-friendly entertainment, and exclusive hospitality options as part of the Bulmers Live at Leopardstown series, which runs throughout the summer.
Acts lined up to play this summer include The Academic on June 12th, Jerry Fish on June 19th, Marcus O’Laoire on July 10th, Allie Sherlock on July 17th, and Darren Kiely on July 24th.
