The Sports Technology Alliance (STA) Summit is coming to Ireland for the first time, with a programme of insight, discussion, and networking at The Leinster Hotel on Wednesday, October 1st.
After a successful series in London, the STA will gather National Governing Bodies, technology providers, and thought leaders in Dublin for what promises to be a dynamic exploration of sport’s digital transformation.
The event is by invitation and designed as a safe space for open dialogue. Sport for Business is hosting the event and has a limited number of invitations available for members who would like to attend. Email rob{@}sportforbusiness.com if you think this would be of interest.
Attendees can expect to hear firsthand stories of innovation, exchange practical experiences, and build connections with peers who face the same challenges and opportunities in sport.
Programme Highlights
Welcome & Opening – Rob Hartnett, CEO of Sport for Business, will set the tone for the day and frame the key themes for discussion.
Leadership Case Study – Enda Lynch, CEO of Badminton Ireland, will share insights from his experience driving organisational change and building momentum in Irish sport.
AI in Practice – Carl Grieves, CEO of Spotler UK, will deliver a masterclass on company-wide AI adoption, offering practical guidance for sports organisations ready to take their first steps.
Data, Engagement & Growth – A facilitated roundtable session led by Rob Hartnett will give attendees the chance to share strategies and challenges on data use, fan and member engagement, secure communication, and licensing.
Closing Wrap-Up – A group shareback will capture the collective insights from the day, and the conversation will then move into informal networking drinks at a nearby venue.
The Sports Technology Alliance Dublin summit is supported by Sport:80, etrainu, Joymo, and Spotler, and will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by networking drinks.
