The demand for talent across the Irish sports industry remains high, with a broad mix of governing bodies, agencies, brands and rights holders currently recruiting for key roles across commercial, high performance, finance and communications.

Three newly listed senior positions this week reflect the breadth of opportunity currently available within the Sport for Business community, with the Irish Rugby Football Union, Golf Ireland, and Hockey Ireland all seeking experienced candidates to help shape the next phase of their development.

The IRFU has launched a search for a new Head of Digital Marketing and Analytics, a role that underscores the growing importance of data, audience engagement, and digital commercial growth in modern sport. The newly created position will sit at the intersection of communications, marketing and commercial activity, with responsibility for helping to build sustainable digital revenue streams and deepen supporter engagement.

Golf Ireland is recruiting for a Partnerships and Marketing Manager on a one-year maternity cover contract. The role will focus on partner activation, experiential marketing, and stakeholder engagement, supporting the governing body’s highest-profile commercial and participation initiatives across the island.

Meanwhile, Hockey Ireland has opened applications for a new High Performance Director, one of the most senior performance leadership roles currently available in Irish sport. The successful candidate will oversee the strategic direction of the men’s and women’s elite programmes, talent pathways, coaching systems and performance services as the sport targets consistent international competitiveness.

Beyond those three flagship appointments, there is strong recruitment activity across the wider sports sector.

Active Disability Ireland is seeking candidates for multiple board positions spanning fundraising, advocacy, and communications, reflecting the organisation’s planned growth.

Agency-side opportunities are also represented, with Titan Experience recruiting a Senior Account Executive focused on event delivery and brand activations.
