We can only hope that there will be no need to trial the company’s products when CelgenTek, an orthopaedic healthcare specialist sees its branding carried into Champions’ Cup action on the Munster Rugby shirts next Saturday January 16th.

The company is the third annual winner of Bank of Ireland’s Sponsor for a Day promotion where small or early stage local businesses have an opportunity to win a marketing package that would normally be the preserve of the biggest brands.

The game that will be broadcast live on Sky Sports giving the company exposure way beyond its Shannon base.

Other elements to the €50,000 prize include pitch signage, corporate hospitality for ten guests, a match programme advert and photographs with the team.

CelgenTek is only 18 months old but is already making waves with its range of products including bone cement and frames for use by surgeons in maintaining stability in limbs when they are being treated or operated on.
