The new Dublin GAA alternate jersey, designed in partnership with O’Neills and sponsored by Staycity Aparthotels was launched in Dublin yesterday and is on sale across the country ahead of the peak pre-Christmas buying season.

It is a paler shade of blue than the regular shirt and takes inspiration from some of Dublin’s most famous landmarks including the Five Lamps in Fairview and the Ha’Penny Bridge across the Liffey.

The jersey will be worn by both Senior Football teams, the Dublin Camogie and Hurling teams in select matches throughout the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

This continues the fair cycle of releasing the main Dublin shirt every two years and the alternate in between.

Dublin players Sean McMahon, Paddy Smyth, Leah Caffrey and Emma O’Byrne representing each of the four codes, were at Parnell Park yesterday to launch the kit.

“We understand the history and impact Dublin GAA has across our city and county and are delighted that players and supporters of all four codes of Dublin GAA to have an opportunity to display that connection with this new jersey,” said Dublin GAA Commercial and Marketing Director Tomás Quinn.

“Dublin GAA are proud to release our latest alternate jersey in partnership with Staycity Aparthotels and O’Neills. We look forward to the teams wearing it in 2025 and beyond and seeing our supporters in it in grounds all across the country.”

“At Staycity Aparthotels, we are thrilled to support the launch of the new 2025 alternative Dublin jersey,” added Jason Delany, Director of Brand & Marketing.

“As Dublin GAA’s official partner, we’re excited to celebrate a design that embodies the spirit and legacy of Dublin, and we look forward to supporting the team and fans in the season ahead.”

“This striking jersey is a bold fusion of tradition and innovation that captures the city’s storied past, it’s iconic achievements and the bond between Dublin GAA and the fans,” said James Towell, O’Neills Financial Controller.

“We look forward to seeing the reactions of both players and fans alike, as it represents not only their team, but the very heart of the city.”
