Golf Ireland has extended its partnership with leading international golf apparel provider, Abacus Sportswear, for another three years.
The agreement will see Abacus continuing as the official apparel supplier for all Golf Ireland international and interprovincial teams until the end of 2027. It will also now extend to include Golf Ireland staff and the 400-strong network of volunteers who support the organisation.
Known globally for its advanced technical fabrics and distinctive Swedish design, Abacus provides apparel specifically engineered for golfers, ensuring optimal comfort and performance under every playing condition.
The range is also inclusive of size and gender, ensuring all players are well catered for.

“Extending our Official Supplier relationship with Abacus is fantastic news for Golf Ireland,” said Golf Ireland CEO Mark Kennelly.
“They have consistently demonstrated their ability to deliver premium quality clothing that aligns perfectly with our goals. This allows us to offer our players apparel that not only boosts their performance but also reflects our identity on the global stage.”
“By extending this supplier agreement to include outfitting for our wider staff and volunteer workforce, we will ensure a greater consistency of brand across the entire organisation.”
“This agreement signifies Golf Ireland’s ongoing dedication to equipping its golfers with the highest standards of apparel, ensuring they remain comfortable, confident, and competitive nationally and internationally.”
“Comfort and functionality are crucial for our players, especially when competing internationally and in different weather conditions,” added Golf Ireland’s High Performance Director and National Coach, Neil Manchip.
“Abacus provides innovative, comfortable, and adaptable clothing that supports our players’ performance. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re delighted this relationship will continue.”
“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Golf Ireland for a further three years to 2027,” said Sven-Olof Karlsson, CEO and founder, Abacus Sportswear.
“We look forward to continuing to supply the teams, staff, and volunteers with high-performance, functional clothing, and hope that our products will be an important part of their equipment, and contribute to their future success”
