In the final part of our monthly series examining Irish Sport on Social Media, we turn our attention to TikTok, which generated 24.8 million views of content produced by our 41 sporting organisations, monitored by our partners and friends at Olytico.
Their overall analysis for June 2025 encompasses over 14,000 posts, 5.9 million engagements, and 24.8 million views of Sport for Business organisation’s content on TikTok.
As we reach the halfway mark of 2025, Olytico’s analysis for this year to date has covered 79,247 posts (+6% on the same time period in 2024), 33.85 million public engagements (-6.5%) and 140.3 million views on Sport for Business member content on TikTok (+56%) highlighting the increased prominence and importance of the platform for sport.
Throughout this week’s coverage, we have ranked each organisation across a range of metrics on each network, including the most active, the most engaged with, and the most engaging content, as well as engagements per 1,000 followers where possible.
It is important to note that this analysis is based on publicly available data. It does not include any analysis or insight on paid or promoted content. When % figures are used (unless otherwise stated), they refer to the previous month’s figures.

June 2025 Highlights on TikTok
468 (+5%) TikToks were posted by Sport for Business members in June 2025. These posts resulted in 1,694,420 engagements (+56%) and 24.82 million views (+4%).
Five organisations broke the magic million views for the month, led by the URC with 8.95 million views, Ireland Football (8.04 million), the League of Ireland (1.42 million), Horse Racing Ireland (1.34 million), and Leinster Rugby (1.24 million).
Interestingly, the most viewed TikTok (5.6 million) came from the United Rugby Championship and was a repeat of last month’s top TikTok of Scarlets’ Blair Murray’s cover tackle. For context, the original posting now has 6.9 million views, with a different soundtrack.

The NIFL topped the activity charts with 91 posts, as they introduced their new uhlsport match ball for 2025/26, with a nice piece of creativity and nostalgia.

and they were followed by HRI (60) who showcased the top fashion from Royal Ascot.

Leinster Rugby posted 47 times with this RG Snyman appreciation post among the most popular and securing third spot in the table for them.

When ranked by average engagement per post, Ireland Football (26,474) topped the charts, followed by Shamrock Rovers (19,961) and the URC (9,282).
The most engaged with TikTok in June came from Ireland Football, as they backed up their success on Instagram with Ireland’s Down Syndrome Futsal team – the post has been viewed over 400,000 times and generated over 540,000 public engagements to date.
