Leading online retailer Very is celebrating nine years as title sponsor of the Very Camogie Leagues, as anticipation builds for this weekend’s highly-anticipated league finals across Divisions 1A, 2A, and 3A.
To mark the occasion, six intercounty stars—Laura Hayes (Cork), Carrie Dolan (Galway), Rachel McAllister (Derry), Orlagh Phelan (Offaly), Líadan Fennell (Laois), and Rachel Fitzmaurice (Roscommon)—gathered in Dublin to launch the 2025 Very Camogie League Finals.
This year’s Division 1A and 2A finals will take place on Sunday, April 13 at Semple Stadium, Thurles. Division 2A finalists Derry and Offaly will take the field at 12.15 pm, followed by the marquee Division 1A clash between Cork and Galway at 2.15 pm — a rematch of their earlier league meeting, which Galway narrowly won.
The Division 3A decider between Laois and Roscommon is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 in Kinnegad, promising another thrilling contest after a tightly contested campaign.
A Long-Standing Partnership
As title sponsor since 2016, Very’s commitment to Camogie has helped elevate the profile of the sport and foster deeper community ties.
“As we celebrate our ninth year as title sponsor of the Very Camogie Leagues, we are incredibly proud of the progress Camogie continues to make,” said Catherine O’Toole, Head of Marketing at Very.
“These finals are a culmination of the hard work and passion of players, coaches and supporters. We invite everyone to join us in Semple Stadium this weekend to witness some of the best talent in the game and support their counties.”
“The Very Camogie League Finals represent a celebration of talent, determination and community spirit,” added Brian Molloy, Camogie Association President.
“We are delighted to bring this year’s finals to Semple Stadium—one of the great venues of Irish sport. We’re proud of the continued progress of our game and hugely grateful to Very for their commitment to Camogie at every level.”
Players Fired Up for the Finals
