Social Media comes into its own on big sporting occasions and a variety of sponsors broadcasters and the general public were active in trying to capture the helter-skelter nature of yesterday’s All Ireland Football Final.
AIB have been on top of their game over the last two years with The Toughest and they were out front with fast and effective reaction posts as the game unfolded and indeed deep into the night.
eir were also active with clips and behind the scenes footage including one image of Donal Marah and David Treacy from the GAA Sponsorship team tieing the ribbons onto Sam Maguire.
RTÉ had the lifting of the trophy and Stephen Cluxton’s speech up on social before the team had descended the steps while Elverys were keen to ensure that none of us forget the same two counties will be doing it all over again next weekend in the All Ireland Ladies Football Final.
