Sport for Business will be live this morning with our Sport and Data 2025 event at the Sandymount Hotel in Dublin.
Tom Fox of 53 Six will join us for a talk on data and creativity in sports, as well as Stephen O’Leary of Olytico for a look under the bonnet of social media in 2025.
GrĂ¡inne Barry of leading global sports data provider Stats Perform and Ronan Jones of Whoop will also be joining us for a discussion on the commercial side of sports data.
Luke Byrne, Technical Director of Shelbourne FC will be joining us to talk about the importance of analysis when it comes to player recruitment.
We will then round the morning out with a session on whether there is enough being done to share and learn from each other given the strong Irish ecosystem in data and whether it would be possible to create an Irish replica of the Sloan Analytics Conference in Boston that draw interest from around the world.
