Annette AIMLiberty Insurance and the GAA secured the Award for Best Sponsorship at last night’s All Ireland Marketing Awards in the Doubletree Hilton Hotel.

Sport was to the fore again at the venue which only hours earlier had hosted the IRUPA Rugby Player of the Year Awards.

Liberty were doubling up having also been recognised at the European Sponsorship awards and last November’s Irish Sponsorship Awards.  It is a notable achievement given that the relationship with the All Ireland Hurling and Camogie Championships was only in its first year of a five year run in 2013.

“We are proud to win this fabulous award,” said Annette Ní Dhathlaoí (pictured above) “It is a great achievement for our wonderful team.”

Ní Dhathlaoi was in the company of friends last night as her former colleagues at Kerry Group pickup up the Marketing Team of the Year award for their “energy and passion in creating a winning category and brand strategy.”

The Electric Ireland team she left to become the Head of Marketing at Liberty were also sharing the stage as they picked up the award for Advertising Campaign of the year for their ‘Power Comes in Many Forms’ campaign.

Tourism Ireland won the International Marketing Award and will be prominent at next week’s first European Sports Tourism Summit in Limerick.
