Sports management agency, Navy Blue Sports, has welcomed its newest team member, Mallorie Ronan, to their Sponsorship Division.
Ronan will be overseeing all sponsorship agreements and activations for the wide range of sporting talent represented by the company.
Navy Blue Sports represents a host of sporting and media talent including Garry Ringrose, Lisa Fallon, Darragh Maloney and Sinead Goldrick.
She has gained invaluable experience as part of the team with two of Ireland’s leading sports Sponsorship and PR agencies, Teneo and Wilson Hartnell, working on activations for some of the biggest players in the Irish sponsorship market including Guinness, Vodafone, AIG, and Pinergy.
“We were delighted when Mallorie decided to join our team here,” said Navy Blue Sports managing director Niall Woods.
“Her track record shows that she understands the importance of building good relationships with brands and matching them with ambassadors with shared values.”
“She knows what a good brand activation looks like and what brands are looking for in sponsorship agreements. She will be using this knowledge to form partnerships between our clients and premium brands to ensure authentic, mutually beneficial and long-lasting collaborations.”
“It is 10 years since I started Navy Blue Sports so the addition of Mallorie to work alongside myself, Fiona Coghlan and Gemma Kenny will only further elevate our sponsorship offering.”
“I‘m really excited to be part of the Navy Blue Sports Team,” added Ronan. “In my previous roles I worked closely with Niall and the wider team contracting ambassadors for various brand activations and had built a good working relationship with them, so when the opportunity to work at the agency came along it was a natural progression for me.”
“Navy Blue Sports work hard to get the best out of and for clients, which was definitely a huge draw for me. I feel that an athlete or sports media talent should be able to focus on their primary job of being an athlete, being pitch side or in the studio and we should be there to assist with taking care of the rest.”
“I pride myself on developing great working relationships that get the best results for everyone involved and that’s what I aim to do for our clients in this role. I look forward to creating, driving and maximising sponsorships and commercial opportunities with some of the great brands we have in the country.”
Ronan holds an M.A. in Journalism and Media Communications as well as a Degree in Commerce. She is a keen supporter of numerous sports with a particular love of rugby, both as a Munster and Ireland fan, and hurling, as a proud Tipperary woman.
We wish her well in her new role and her continued engagement as a member of the Sport for Business Community.
